David Grizzard
I have spent the last 32 years building, managing, and supporting systems across Windows, MacOS, Unix, and Linux platforms. My goal is to provide stable and secure IT solutions that work across different platforms and departments. I pride myself on being hands-on—whether that means architecting a cloud-based collaboration suite or pulling cable for a new build—to provide the solutions you might not yet know you need.
I aim is to use that experience to bridge the gap between complex technical requirements and user-centered support.
Technical Experience
Systems & Network Administration: Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP, as well as Linux Administration .
Communications & Cloud: Administration of email systems including MS Exchange and Kerio Connect, and the installation and management of Nextcloud.
Security & Data Protection: Management of antivirus and backup systems (Netvault), as well as spam and web content filtering (Barracuda, Cisco).
Physical Infrastructure: Oversight of physical security systems, including security cameras and access control, along with hands-on experience in Wi-Fi networking and structured cabling, wiring, and termination.
My focus is delivering integrated results that work for the people using them. I am here to ensure your infrastructure is reliable and stays out of your way so you can focus on your work.

Since 2011, I have specialized in the architecture and security of diverse hardware and networking environments. My passion lies in leveraging Open Source technologies to provide high-level capabilities without the burden of restrictive licensing.
I love the flexibility of Open Source technologies to work in varied environments and the capabilities that are often gated behind expensive licenses and paywalls. As a Systems Administrator, I have dealt substantially with networking, security, and site hosting. Having spent more than a decade reading logs from Internet-facing systems I've seen the endless floodgate of noise that is the internet and how it's evolved over time.
